The raw material for Granugreen® products – the rubber granules – is made from used tires, with which
we reduce the amount of waste, protect the environment and contribute to the reduction of the raw
material requirements. The environmental activities of Green Tyre Zrt. include the collection of waste tires and recycling them through the production of rubber granules. Thus, the group activities cover the entire vertical process of waste recovery (collection-processing-new product production).
The first product certification for our shock absorbing tiles was issued by the Otto-Graf Institute in Stuttgart in 1990, according to DIN 18 032. Since then our safety tiles get the certification for fall protection in accordance with EN 1177, issued by TÜV and for fi re classification in accordance with EN 13501-1, issued by OFI, Austria. The quality insurance system and the environmental management systems of Green Tyre Zrt. are certified according to ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015, while the Health and Safety Management system is certified as per ISO 45001:2018. Our aim is to guarantee: the high quality of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
